When you join, Marina Alexander, RCS’s music director, will ask you to sing a few simple scales to gauge:

  • The tone quality of your voice
  • Your vocal range
  • How well you match pitch

The abilities to read music to some degree and reproduce rhythmic figures are useful skills.
